Heritage Bus Rides

Enjoy the thrills of public road transport from years gone by as you ride on a fantastic selection of historic vehicles from the Rally site. All bus rides from the rally site are free.
Subject to availability of vehicles and crews, we hope to also run some Mystery Tours from the rally site.

Steam Vehicles

'Elizabeth', our 1931 Sentinel Steam Bus, will be operating from the Helicopter Museum rally site. She will appear in her familiar maroon livery again, having returned from a thorough 'nut and bolt' refurbishment in early 2017. Our own 1920 Clayton & Shuttleworth Road Locomotive 'Sonsie Quine' will again be in action and we hope she will be joined by other steam road vehicles.

Crosville Depot Visits

Take a ride on a heritage bus to our Winterstoke Road depot, where some of our modern buses and coaches will be on display. The depot is not open to the general public at any other time.

Society Stalls

We hope that many society and trade stalls will be in attendance inside our depot and at the main rally site. Here you can browse or buy scale models, books & magazines, DVDs, collectables & memorabilia and much more.

Official Programme

We are producing a glossy, full colour booklet containing timetables, vehicle details and information on all activities during the day. These will be available at the Helicopter Museum rally site, our depot and on some heritage buses.

How to find the Rally site

The Rally is being held at the Helicopter Museum, Locking Moor Road

Arriving by train?

Our free bus service will call at WSM railway station on its way from our depot to the Helicopter Museum rally site. A timetable will be published nearer the time.

How to get involved
